In my college days, I knew a woman whose birthday was Feb 29. So one year, we gathered at her dorm room just before midnight on the 28th and commenced singing 'Happy Birthday', being sure to make it last long enough that we finished just after midnight on March 1st, figuring that her brithday, such as it was, was in there somewhere. . .
