Balls

I know you've all been waiting with 'bated breath to hear my opinion on "Deflategate". Lucky you! It appears today in the Boston Herald.

Here it is!

(My name - that would be "Sullivan" - is what you should look for on that page. Just click it to get to my deathless prose.)

Your fawning letters of praise to the editor, as well as your obsequious comments left at the website, are not only appreciated but give me the will to live. As always, buying a hard copy of the paper could be valuable in future. When I win my Pulitzer, in 2026 or so, showing your copy of the Herald with one of my columns in it will earn you admittance to the celebratory party (which will feature FREE whoopie pies.)

So, you know what to do. And I thank you in advance for doing so.

Soon, with more better stuff.

P. S. The photo is from this place.

A Couple of Places to Find Me

Just giving an opportunity to breathe to those of you who might have been holding your breath waiting for some more of my writing.

You could go to http://www.sbsports.com/softball/default.asp and read all about my body falling apart and why I will not be a catcher any more forever.

Or you could go to http://discovermagazine.com/2015/june/10-orange-is-the-new-maizehttp://discovermagazine.com/2015/june/10-orange-is-the-new-maize and read part of what I wrote in the latest issue of Discover magazine (you'll have to buy the issue to read it all - which you should, of course, and then you should subscribe because I expect to show up in at least the next two issues following the current one.)

Or, if you just want to laugh at my expense, go to https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153327587716667&set=a.10150763777666667.465211.632121666&type=1&theater

(If that doesn't get you to a photo of me pretending to be a red-haired Jon Voight in Midnight Cowboy, then just go to my Facebook page and look for it. And please be kind.)

That will do it for now. I have a couple of interviews to conduct, in the next hour or two, for another Discover piece. As always, I am blessed beyond anything I deserve (especially when you consider that cowboy photo.)

Soon, with more better stuff.
