What a fun adventure this turned out to be. Talent shared online, virtual strangers, music lovers all.

Beautiful cover art, but I'm a married man. . . ;)

WARNING/DISCLAIMER:

If you think this is genius, thank Jim.

If you think this is insanity, blame me. The fault is mine. But I think On The Corner is a great album, too, and there it is.

"Garden Weasels of Malice". GREAT name!!! Cover art is nice, too. And the music is, well, unique enough to clash with both.

I vote Insanity...but you knew I would, didn't you?

(thx 4 the good time!)
xoxoxo, cd

I'm exhausted after that!

It's just as lovely a cover as the Whipped Cream album that Herb Alpert did decades ago. I like it!

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say I think maybe whipped cream tastes better than a guitar.

just sayin'

Great name for the characters in it.
Though we would have also accepted Axis of Weasel
or
Weasel-doers beware!

Man, that was amazing. Jim, you're a technological wizard.

Definitely had a funk-70's vibe to it.

Ummm! Phew! It's....um...gosh, um..Far too clever for me. Great guitar playing, terrific beat and Ginsberg too.

Think I might know a bit more abut baseball.

Was that Lime? Recognise the hair.

I'll have to pass at this point in time on listening to your music -need to get through my reader first then, as time allows for more leisurely stuff, I can come back and listen in. Amazing though that you and your online pals can do this stuff though, it really is!

Silly me I had Howl confused with this.

Very cool. Congrats to everyone who participated and especially to you, Jim for the great idea and for putting it all together.

Wow, who woulda' thought Cricket had all that in him?? Love the guitar rifts, and as for the artwork, how cool is that? Love the name, too. Great collaboration, well done on pulling it all together, Jim!

I know nothing about music composition, but this is compelling, with a retro vibe, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Clever cover. Amazingly talented group you have there, Suldog. I think you're ready to go on tour, or at least play the local watering holes. Kudos!

James Shawn "Suldog" "Saturday" "Turnip Sandwiches" Sullivan,

An honor it is to have my name associated with such a track. It absolutely blew me into next week.

You, sir, are the way of it.

I'm thinkin' the Garden Weasels of Malice would have been perfectly at home in the Haight. You really need a time machine. A REAL one.

Psychedelic funk. This could mess with someone on a bad acid trip. Not that I would know...

Allen Ginsberg's words fit.

Garden Weasels of Malice - cool name. It has that rabid quality that speaks for the music. It could bite you, and you would go into a rave.

That cover art is awesome!

Buck - it was the Fillmore where all of the good bands played... and if the Fillmore was booked they played Winterland.

Oh, wait... you mean the free music in the park, near Kezar.

It appears the link I put up before is inoperable it is supposed to go to:

ok, i gotta say i love the name "garden weasels of malice" but "axis of weasels" sure has a groovy ring to it as well.

very cool to hear crickets voice on this cut along with all the other musicians. what fun and glad i could contribute in some small if non-musical way.

now i wonder if weird al yankovic would let us cover his "weasel stomping day." man, wouldn't that be trippy too?

Awesome track, Suldog!!
Although I don't have a musically talented bone in my body, I know a good song when I hear it.
Kudos to all participating artists!!

I finally got a chance to listen - wow! It sounds great, but what's best is I can hear all the fun you had doing this. Way to go!

Jim, I hope you can work in the Gopher Guts song on the next project...

I was stationed at Vandenberg AFB from 1964 - 1967 (a mere few hours drive from SFO), Uncle Skip, and attended many a concert at both venues... but never in the park. Almost made it to a Dead show in Golden Gate park once, but duty called and I couldn't swap shifts with anyone. Those were great days... or at least as much of 'em as I can remember. (Cue up Paul Kantner) ;-)
