Look! It's Michael Jackson! In The NYC Subway!
Well, OK, it's not really Michael Jackson in the New York subway. It's a Michael Jackson impersonator in the New York subway.
I'll be back tomorrow with tales of our long weekend in New York City, including many more haphazardly-framed, blurry photos.
Oh, what the hell. They weren't all out-of-focus and worthless. Here's one I took in the early morning of the Manhattan entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge.
Will most of tomorrow's photos be as good as this? Or will they be as bad as the Michael Jackson? You'll have to come back tomorrow and see. Ooh, the suspense!
See you then (I hope.)

That's a great bridge shot!
I still have a photograph of myself taken at the top of one of the twin towers, a girlfriend and I visited NY when we were in our early 20's. Happier, more innocent times..
I passed up a Hella good deal on that bridge in the waay-back. Been kicking myself ever since...
Hope you're having fun in the Big Apple!
Those are both great pictures! And are you sure it wasn't MJ? He does need money. He's losing two houses!
I am itching to apply a delicate "cropping" to that bridge photo ... that bridge (alone and sans the visual activity around it), has a beckoning power in the wonderful light that you captured on it.
Looking forward to tomorrow's installment.
What a gggggreat shot of the bridge, the cyclist, the lights.
i've never been to new york and will live vicariously through your pictures, whether they are out of focus or not! i love that shot of the brooklyn bridge.
i was a huge michael jackson fan in the fifth grade. i shudder to think of it now!
weekend in new york city. sounds simply, fabulously adult. nice!
I'm waiting too - bring the pictures as well as stories about your NY visit on!
