Wonderful story, Jim. I can't believe he would go out and buy a whole suit, just to protect your feelings. That's. . . amazing. . .

I once bought my dad a pair of bright-red socks for Christmas (I wanna say that I was a bit younger than you were here; at least, I hope I was. . .) And doggone if he didn't wear those stupid socks every Christmas from then until well after I was out of college. . .
