I've done a tiny bit of sorting and rearranging here at Suldog. I've deleted a few links that appeared to be dead. I've reorganized the order of my links to other blogs - and added one, to the top of the list, that has always been my favorite place to go for good stories, well-written. He'll stay there permanently, even though he hasn't blogged in about three years now. He's that good. I hope the other folks I've moved down a notch won't mind (I know they won't, once they read some of his stuff.)
I've added some folks back into the active links nearer to the top, moved a couple of folks down to the relegated list, etc., etc., etc.
If you have any complaints or suggestions, I'll listen. No guarantee I'll do anything about it, but I'll listen. If you think you should be in the listings, but aren't? Drop me a line.
As always, thanks for stopping by.
Soon, with more better stuff (and if you haven't ever read any of Magazine Man's stuff - he's the one listed as "Somewhere On The Masthead" - by all means, do so. You won't be sorry. Start with this one. I did and I was hooked forever after.)

Here's another place you can find me - today's Boston Herald (I understand the link wasn't working before, but now I've fixed it. Thanks, Ami, for the help!)
It's about The Olympics. I hope you enjoy it!
OK, I have some donuts to eat. See you soom.
(probably with more better stuff.)

I need only stage, screen and radar credits to complete my resume. Aside from however many times I've bamboozled editors into publishing my writing (and there will be another instance this Sunday, thank you) I have now been featured on radio.
Jay Talkin', the midnight to 5am show hosted by the great Bradley Jay, on WBZ Newsradio 1030 in Boston (and with a reach of 38 different states due to a 50,000 watt clear signal) was where you could have found me on Thursday morning.
Bradley Jay to the left, me to the right showing a face that is perfect for radio.
If you didn't find me on WBZ - perhaps due to the lateness of the hour and your need to rise at 6 in the morning in order to go to your job making widgets, or perhaps because you live in Alaska - I have good news for you. My hour on the show is available via podcast. As a matter of fact, here it is now!
OK, it isn't here, but here's a link to where you can find it.
Jay Talkin' - Thursday, August 11th (look for "Are you Wasting your Vote?")
I think I was scintillating, insightful, provocative, even mediocre at times. You can form your own opinion, of course. It would be easier for you to form your own opinion if I knew how to embed the audio here, but - as noted at one point during the interview - I am a neanderthal without even the knowledge that comes from owning a cell phone. You expect me to be able to figure out how to make audio play on a blog? You're lucky you're not reading this on a rock I chiseled.
By the way, there was a small piece left out of the podcast, wherein Bradley asked me how I learned to write well. I basically told him I had no idea and I decided to commit professional suicide by professing a stunning ignorance of how words are supposed to, according to Strunk & White, work. Just to prove I wasn't lying, here's my usual sign-off.
Soon, with more better stuff.

Just a reminder that I'm going to be on WBZ radio tonight.
The show is Bradley Jay's Jay Talkin', which airs midnight to 5am. I expect I'll be on for the first hour, unless earlier than that he realizes the horrible mistake he's made and he cans me after ten minutes.
Bradley Jay, blissfully unaware of what awaits
Someone asked me what the subject matter was going to be. I said I didn't have the slightest idea (actually, I said, "Damned if I know.") In reality, I know he took a shine to my Boston Herald column of a week ago, so I suppose we'll discuss that. What we'll do for the next 55 minutes is a poser. Maybe I'll get lucky and find out he's a softball junkie or a Three Stooges fanatic.
In any case, why not tune in and hear me try to be intelligent? It's bound to be worth a few giggles, maybe even a snort or two. It's 1030 on your AM dial and WBZ has a 50,000 watt clear signal that reaches some 38 states on a good night. Even if it's not a good night or you're not in one of those 38 states, you can listen on the internet. Go to http://player.radio.com/listen/station/wbz-newsradio-1030
If I survive the experience, I'll talk to you...
... soon, with more better stuff.

I have a piece in the Boston Herald today. If you've been wondering who to vote for, I have the answer (or, at least, a way to find out the answer.)
In other news, my previous Herald column seems to have impressed someone enough to have me on-air with him. I won't give details until it is definite (I'm planning on making it so, soon) but the airwaves I may be on have a reach of 38 states on a good evening, so you might be able to tune in.
That's all for now. I hope you enjoy today's column. I'll let you all know about the appearance when it is set in stone.
Soon, with more better stuff.
