The Boston Herald has published another of my pieces, God bless them. Please
go to their website, read, and comment (if you have nothing better to do with your next five minutes, like clean your toenails or something.)
As always, THANK YOU!
Jim

So, OK. Disregard my e-mail. I'm not fully caffeinated yet.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read it yet, but consider it disregarded!
ReplyDeleteI remember this story well. And love it. I just didn't want to say that part at the Herald in case they want first rights to your wonderful stories.
ReplyDeleteSully, just to get my comment published I had to jump through more hoops than when I worked for the circus. Here's the comment I left for your story:
ReplyDeleteJim's grandfather was the equivalent of every peaceful man: get along with others - even if you must fake it to make it. He was a true gentleman as well as an astute businessman.
whew. If it's as hard to get an article published as it is to leave a comment, I salute you!
Went.
ReplyDeleteRead.
Loved it.
Commented.
Off to do my nails now.
Hugs,
J.
Sheesh... I hardly know where to comment now.
ReplyDeleteShould I do it here and on the Herald's site?
Should I comment on Facebook, too?
Should I comment on all three?
Are you gonna remember us when you're famous, like Dave Barry?
I don't mean Dave Barry remembers us.
DeleteI mean he's famous.
I wonder who he remembers.
He writes for the wrong Herald.
Gosh... if I'm not careful, he might send me a Florida drivers license.
Went and left a comment there -- your grandfather was a good guy, it sounds like.
ReplyDeleteI remember this post! It's a tale deserving to be told as many times and at as many places as possible...
