A friend of mine and I took home a grocery bag with: 2 Uniqs, 2 mangoes, a dragonfruit (we weren't sure if it was even safe to eat - really strange texture)), kumquats, and a handful of longan. After kumquats and longan the Uglyfruit tastes pretty normal.

Was a very interesting evening to say the least.

ps. thanks for checking in on me :)Melindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17991977217122899608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15329973.post-86144475917358774642008-05-05T21:31:00.000-04:002008-05-05T21:31:00.000-04:00I will forgive you for your lack of envoronmental ...I will forgive you for your lack of envoronmental protective-ness because you made me laugh at the political correct-ness at naming fruit.CSD Faux Finishinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05947691876538206892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15329973.post-51638672291147520582008-05-05T16:16:00.000-04:002008-05-05T16:16:00.000-04:00For those waiting with 'bated breath for the answe...For those waiting with 'bated breath for the answer, you could go over to John-Michael's place, read the comments, and get it there. I used to amass a huge collection of empty beer and pop bottles in the garage while living in Michigan, Beserkeley, and New Yawk. No more. They go directly into the trash, and I giggled (um, nope: I guffawed. Much more manly.) each and every time I tossed a bottle in the trash after moving to New Mexico. Some times I still do. It's a small poke in The Goreacle's eye, FWIW.

You are NOT alone.Buckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05319116022465066060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15329973.post-13581150654463950762008-05-05T13:49:00.000-04:002008-05-05T13:49:00.000-04:00I want to follow you in the store one day. When I was doing the "immediately after divorce ... got no dough to entertain you kids" thing, I would buy Mickey D's, park the 72 VW in a Mall parking lot, and play tapes of old radio shows whilst we "dined." My daughter (then 8) once offered "This is so much scarier than movies, Dad. My imagination makes some great images!" And I thought ... alas! The young are being shortchanged yet again!

Love Ya, My Friend!
