You're Here? Go There!

Here's hoping you have a great weekend. Mine got better this morning when I saw that the Boston Herald decided to run one of my columns today.

READ IT HERE

Not only is it a payday, but it gives me a quick chance to put something else out here instead of that dreadfully boring housekeeping rant from yesterday. Yay!

As always, your kind comments and letters to the editor will earn you an extra serving of pistachio ice cream when I throw my apres-Pulitzer-party.

Soon, with more better stuff.

Incredible story. Incredible reminder to appreciate what we have, and to be ever-cocnizent of our choices and their long-term impact.

Thank you for sharing!

At least you attempted to make your housekeeping rant interesting and informative.

There... that may get a few more folks to read it all the way throught.

A beautiful piece, Suldog. Kudos to the Herald for printing it.
We so carelessly take for granted all the blessings we have been given.

Well done, more than worthy of publication by the Herald.

I am so glad the Herald appears to be including you as a regular contributor. They know a good thing when they see it. Lucky is the blog-reader who has known that for much longer.

Beautiful piece, Jim.

And pistachio is my all-time favourite.

I stopped reading comments on the newspaper websites for that same reason.
Come to think of it, I stopped reading letters to the editor, too, because of the irrelevancies.

I finally cancelled the subscription to the paper here because the articles got to be as bad as the letters.

I loved the story ~ listening is rare, and nearly always welcomed. You're a wonderful human being - and I mean that.

Keepin' it real, Jim; thanks.

Whenever I read stuff like that, it always makes me think that it wouldn't have taken much in the way of bad breaks (or a dumb decision or two) for that to have been me. . .

Always thinking of the good side of things, and how someone, somewhere, has it a lot harder than you.
