Ooooh... THAT was good. I hope I can continue to laugh.

BTW... They play "The Good Ol' Hockey Game" at The Joe, occasionally, when the Wings win.

Cute. :) I wish I could enjoy hockey the way I once did. Maybe once Frank and I are settled under one roof. It might come back to me. ... nah! ;)

I've never been much of a hockey fan but Los Angeles currently has "hockey fever" and we have out fingers crossed.

I was at the hockey rink just the other day...with my granddaughter for her ice skating class. She skates at the Washington Capitals rink.

I envy you the success....

Minnesota really deserves a better hockey team.

Minnesota deserved to keep the North Stars!

I so agree with that. Minnesota did deserve to keep the North Stars. It was a shame.

On lighter news, the Penguins have done comebacks before when losing their games on home ice. So that is nothing new to us Pens fans. But it looks like the Bruins are going to take this all the way. I can't judge their game play from last night's performance because I didn't watch it (I'm alternating TV-watching nights with The Overlord). But if they played the same as the first game, then that isn't Penguins hockey. Some other team must have showed up and put on their uniforms. Oh well. Hockey is hockey to me. I'll enjoy it even if we lose, and not sneer or badmouth the other team for playing their hearts out.

You wouldn't have anyone specific in mind, would you, Michelle? :-)

I love The Bear. Seems Pittsburgh has been on the receiving end of having poked it at some point. Maybe during the regular season when the B's couldn't get past them? I don't know but these past 2 games sure have been exciting & I'm already ready for tomorrow night!

And on a side note, it would be very nice to see Jagr score a freaking goal sometime during the playoffs. Not for lack of shooting (over 35 now I think) the poor guy just can't seem to find the back of the net with the little round disc of rubber despite how well he's doing as a protector of it along the boards. He's due.

I know! Jagr's had good opportunities, but nothing is going. Just reading the stats, you'd think the guy is a bum, but he's playing a good game.

Now, now. If Detroit and Pittsburgh can't play nice, we'll have to toss you out of the sandbox. Eat your graham crackers and quit poking.

But Daaaad! SHE started it! :-)
